The full cast performance and sound effects were done incredibly well. But the material was entirely lacking. It was like reading poorly conceived YA. None of the characters who are supposed to wise and experienced can see what is painfully obvious to any listener who isn’t in a coma. You should skip this one.

How can a story about a magical world with endless possibilities become tedious and preachy? Turn it into a drag queen story hour, only with the most stereotypical presentation possible. Huesca has brought to life a fantastically vivid, grim story whose twists and turns can not be anticipated. The characters are life-like and interesting, and the narration really takes it to another level.

A fantastic start to a phenomenal series! This has got to be one of the best, funniest and most enjoyable books I have read in a long time.

very good sound character, voices, effects and great storyline. I would highly recommend this book.
