The Eaton is the debut novel and my first read from author John K. Addis. In reading the “blurb” I’d anticipated a mystery/suspense read. The random floors were not very good. It got old really quick. I had to struggle to keep my attention because it was just one random lame thing after another to just insta-killed the boss by uber sword. I don’t find hearing about a floor type for 30 min for it to then be cleared..

I love the cast that Soundbooth Theater our together to narrate this book. The always put out such high quality narrations. I really enjoyed the direction this book went. The characters are interesting and fun. It was cool that the author got to narrate a character, too.
