A little to much Mary Sue but still pretty fun. I would rekommend as light summer redning.
Fun characters, good plot, keeps the action going without loosing the listener. A must for any who like worlds with power, different races such as dwarves and beast people, and an underdog main character.
The pace of the story was a bit too fast, jumped a week her and a week or month there. So much time, that could have been used to build the characters and story line more. Other than that, I would recommend others to listen to this atleast once. It does have a uniqueness that..
Pretty boring . And jot well written. Can’t even follow how this “point system” started or how it works . But frankly I don’t care . Don’t care about the characters either . And the narrator isn’t great – although can do character voices moderately well.

it was fun to listen to on our road trip. This book was completely different than anything we’ve ever read and I’m so glad we tried something new!
I really wasn’t expecting to be impressed by this. It drew me in and made me care about the characters, once that’s done everything else made sense in this weird world. loved it.

The book has a good premise but gets lost in the weeds quite a few times and it’s a slight to get through those sections. Also, I prefer my fantasy and science fiction without pyschopathic killer rapists… especially describing what he has done. It was unnecessary to the main cord of the story and felt..
