Loved the book and I loved the audiobook even more. Well worth the read and listen. Looking forward to the next book!

The premise is extremely I, and the characters engaging. The ending promises an epic second book. Can’t wait! Jeff Hays is fantastic as usual, and each character’s voice is unique and fits perfectly. You really must enjoy the tedium of settlement building and systems though. It is heavy in this book.

it’s a fast-paced light read with a OP lead. that was a perfect one liner but word counts ruined it

Definitely not what I was expecting. Was definitely a good performance as Jeff Hays works magic. The story was different and entertaining but not for the faint of heart or virgin ears. All in all it was good… but strange… but good.

Loved this story. Kind of picked it blindly and gave it a shot but really enjoyed the book. Reader was great also. The idea of slaves, especially female ones, will be hard for people to accept but it is a technicality in the story. The hero of this story is easy to respect and love.

I can’t understand why th ed author wrote a gaming book about a character that has apparently zero experience with gaming & knows nothing about firearms when this is all about guns…
