Did I mention this is a long book? The storyline is pretty much what I’d imagine playing a roleplaying game would be like over the course of weeks or months. There is a real world plot line too, but it takes a backseat to the in game action. I’d have liked to see it developed..
the story was a bit shallow, but ultimately fun. The pop culture references were personally a bit groan inducing, but overall still entertaining. If you want some power fantasy brain candy, this series delivers.
