I read this book as soon as it came out and loved the concept. After reading the authors other works I was pretty certain that I would not be disappointed. Jeff Hays did an outstanding job as always narrating. Now I just got book two and cannot wait to start. I hope Nick Podehl does..
The audio performance is great! The story seems incomplete towards the end with things set up with no pay off. Hopefully will have a sequel!

Easy to get drawn into the story and forget you’re not playing an RPG game or D&D. Very well read by the voice actors and full of structured unique characters that aren’t forgettable or generic.5/5 Will continue to read this series
