Funny RPG like story, kind of seen from a NPC character. Can’t wait for the 3rd book.

Gives me a new image of all my gaming events. An excellent imagery of how games will evolve and as always the narrators are awsome. I have to find more work by this authir for sure!

I picked up this book on a whim because it came in my suggested books and the description seemed interesting. Best purchase on a whim I have ever made from Audiobook!!!

I enjoyed the story and the characters genuinely made me laugh. I would like to see more work by this author.

Annie had a shakey start in keeping her characters consistent and distinct (and I don’t love the changes to her Lavi) but by the middle she was rocking and it became a really fun listen. Hayes killed it as usual.

The concept is better than the execution. the idea of a upgrader hero is pretty cool. it’s a good one time read, but I don’t think that I will keep the book

a refreshing break from the guy lives in a virtual world template seen in many Litrpg books. Blaise sets up the series with an interesting plot line that leaves the reader (listener) wanting more. The Narration by Jess Hays is flawless as to be expected with his performances.

The aspect of playing as a dungeon lord is different enough that I was not sure how it would play out. For that plot premise, I think the book is worth a listen(if you like the LitRPG genre). I didn’t feel hammered with stats and skill choices, and they somehow felt more integrated into he..
