A fantasy that is more geared towards gamers and RPGers that tends toward a more subversive take on the genre. Full disclosure, NOT a children’s book.
I like the ‘pulled out of the known’ blending of worlds this story has. There is something about the mix if the known world into a new fantasy that really catches my attention here. don’t waant to spoil it but the end was dreadful, the author was good at dancing around it and it was a blindside. i like the blindside but wish he would have taken a different angle.
