Okay well my first impression of the book was I liked it. The main characters had a nice dynamic and were truely uncompromisingly good. Which was so refreshing. My only problem was the way they info dumped their backstories seemed way too unsubtle. And it felt like the writer was making excuses for the characters…

I began this book with nothing more than the hopes for some laughs and an interesting step into LitRPG’s this being the first I’ve read.going in blind to the story, almost straight away i was thrown on what to expect from this book in the best kind of way. listening to the main character learn..
Morningwood takes a unique interest in the inner workings of a monster as it levels up and leaves the confines of it’s dungeon. A number of reviews of this book call it out for being boring, going nowhere and having a childish sense of humor. It seems many of these reviewers didn’t bother to finish..
