it’s a good book and a lot of fun but it did have way too many battle scenes, it was non stop. I would love to see more character development and main plot progression in the second book.

What a surprisingly funny and entertaining book. Got it on a recommendation from a friend and loved it.
Seems to be written by a teenager that just touched his first boob. Childish and not very compelling. Definately won’t be purchasing future volumes.
Love this series and this particular book has some of his best written jokes and moment of drama.

There use to be a category of ‘Young Adult’s for books that used simple humor and wasn’t very complex. This book should have that label. But it doesn’t. it is light on plot, light on character development, and simplistic in it’s humor.

The character dynamics in Virtuous Sons make it a really fun read, and ancient Greece makes for a great backdrop to a progression fantasy series. Highly recommend
The adventure is compelling mostly due to the excellent performance by Jeff Hays. Each character is distinct and in the case of the aliens sometimes fun and cartoony, particularly the pompous and arrogant Xiiginns.

I love this series. I have laughed. I have cried. I have rooted for the demise of characters and then in a cruel twist of fate rooted for their victory. It’s a great story. Enjoy the listen. The performers are amazing. The sound editing is fantastic.
