this book was good as every other one yet tried to pack way too much into it while fighting to meet or exceed the expectations provided by prior books.

I laughed out loud!! A great escape from reality in these strange times. The AI was completely unhinged.

The silly interjections by Doughnut, as if she is yell texting with exclamation points, are profoundly light hearted despite the audacious nature of the crawl.

this is a perfect R rated dungeon crawl with just the right amount of dark humor

I was hesitant to try it because it isn’t my usual genre or style. So glad I did! I love Princess Doughnut and Carl. I’ll be listening to the entire series and sticking with it. Narrator is incredible.

Listened on recommendation with no knowledge of the story. Even if the story is not your type, the narration is so good, it’s worth it. That said, the story was def my type.
