90% of the book is one character talking to himself (which is a crime in itself given the incredible range Jeff Hays has) and grinding (the worst part of any RPG to play, much less listen to) with the small remainder dedicated to telling an actual story and Gandalf jokes.

#2 in the series is just as fantastic as the first. Great storyline and very impressive performance.
I mean, sometimes you can in fact judge a book by its cover. If you read the title, chuckled, and thought “nice!”, then this book is for you. POV: mimic becoming sentient
loved the book and very involved in all the characters. but the five stars all comes from the fabulous post credits commercial

The audio production, story, and characters have evolved over the last five books and unlike many stories, I have to say that it has only gotten better with each one. This story had ups and downs and at one point towards the end I didn’t want to hear the last few hours out of grief..
And it keeps getting better and better. What a climax and epilogue in this one!

Of all the LitRpg. This series brakes the mold by not having lower ratings as the series progresses. Not all but it’s a trend I see in the most popular stories where it starts off strong but fail to follow through. I can’t wait for the next one!!!
