This series is a lot of fun to listen to. The Gate of the Feral Gods does suffer a bit from middle book syndrome more than the previous two books; however, it isn’t any less enjoyable. I understand how it can seem a bit all over the place but in fairness he’s tying up things..

Jeff Hayes kills it again with another fantastic read, characters you will absolutely fall in love with!! Can’t recommend it enough. Glad i just started my Crawl so i don’t have to wait for the future releases. Happy Crawling ^_^
tldr:Get it.This latest installment took me and my imagination, and dragged us through an experience like no other: I found myself with hopes and dreams and an entirely new life in a strange world. I feel fulfilled from the story and empty for it having an end. Im waitng for more in the best way..

The MC was getting very preachy about always wanting to be the good guy and that took away from enjoying the story. At several points in the story the MC was willing to turn his back on nearly everyone and everything he has built in order to stand in the light and be a good..
Has to be some of the best voice acting on Audible. The story is bonkers, which adds to the overall enjoyable experience.

From one of the original series that brought me into Litrpg comes the long awaited sequel. Praise Murmurs black heart. I cannot wait for the next entry to the series, I hope it comes faster than the gap between 4 and 5. One tiny criticism of the book is that the talking golem was hard..
Matt and Jeff are a force that when combined come together to create the most awesome strange environment that is horrible, hilarious and heartfelt.
