The first 2 books were great. I am having a really hard time staying interested in this book. it seems like a filler book that hasn’t drove the plot forward at all. I’m at chapter 16 and I probably won’t make it to 17.

Tried this book on a whim. So very glad I did! This is now one of my favorites. Great narration. Can’t wait for Sequal.exe to come out on audible.

I’m a gamer, and this story gave me the same satisfaction as playing and beating a game. it’s got a great setup, and power escalation. the protagonist goes through some nice challenges that are framed via game parlance, while giving an emotional payoff. If you like books and video games, give this one a shot.

Loved the book. Hated Heather. Everything else was very refreshing and not the cliched story line.

Took a long time to get but i think it’s a masterpiece. Overall action packed. Good details and the soundtrack to go with made the telling top notch. Very impressed with this book.

There are so many litrpg out there right now that I have trouble starting a new series for fear of mediocrity and overuse of stats. But this was a breath of fresh air. Something new and fun, that feels more unique than dime a dozen litrpg and also not as predictable as generic isekai stories..

Imagine being in a video game with sardonic AI with constant danger but a solid Carl beside you. Constant surprises lurking beyond every filthy lair with occasional safe rooms.

I loved this book, it was such a breath of fresh air. I can’t wait for the last book to be narrated. I really hope it’s released soon.
