This one was a pleasant surprise for me because I don’t usually enjoy superhero stories. Throwing magic into the mix plus a fun story and a great cast, the author created a winner. looking forward to the next in the series.

setting is intriguing and story slowly unfolds so the world remains mysterious. good story with an original idea at the core with blending man and monster.the rules of the world are simplistic so easy to follow. the bad part is pacing in both story and narration (speeding up doesn’t solve it). many of the monologues are internal during a battle, dragging everything out and killing any tention

The story line is different than anything I’ve read. So creative and entertaining. Absolutely love it. Narrator was perfect. Had some actual lol moments

this story is like the Venom movies except with cake, lots of cake, and vengeance!

honestly my favorite parts were all the banter between the characters. love the voice acting, and by far one of The best audiobooks I’ve listened to lately.

Love the story, the characters, and all the plot twists that keep readers interested. Rich storytelling with complex relationships that keep growing. Prepatente is my current favorite. [Screams in goat.]

Definitely worth the 5 year wait. The story is phenominal and Spundbooth Theater puts on a hell of a performance. Best book in an already excellent series.

very magnetic narrative, absolutely love the characters and the development. never feels op due to the beautiful pacing and oddly satisfying inventory management/ awareness on the authors part

it’s truly amazing how the worlds keep getting more interesting than that you’re with complex character development and out of this world imagination to create an extremely unique experience. the audio as well as very well done more so than most audio books not done by sound guild
