Some High Points….but many more low points.

Review from The Razor →

High point: Great Narrator. High point: Interesting Premise High Point: Good writing Low Point: Too long – this story didn’t warrant this length in telling. Low Point: Very slow beginning – it takes forever to get to the action. The build up was tiresome to me. If you bill yourself as action oriented – then..

Amazing

Review from Uncrowned →

Not just this book but all the ones before. What a great series!! Great character arcs, surprising twists and turns to the story. Books I would even let my daughter read since there is nothing more than sexual tension in any of this series. As an avid reader of fantasy, I highly recommend this series!

Creative and different

Review from Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox →

This story has the imaginative touch of many Japanese animated movies. It is a bit like princess mononoke, a bit like twilight. The author puts together an alternate reality which is enjoyable to spend some time in. There were times I felt the story wasn’t as deep as it could be, but overall a good..

Keeping it fresh

Review from Uncrowned →

Voicing is great as usual. My personal favorite is Dross’s voice. Author does a great job keeping continuity and always moving the story along with interesting events and occurances. Review from A Thousand Li: The First Step: A Cultivation Novel →

As an avid listener and reader this book and possibly series is going to be difficult to create a connection with any of the characters in the book. This is entirely due to the hardcore mode level/approach the author takes towards the naming schema of the ancient Chinese culture. the characters themselves are rather interesting..

Perfect

Review from Wizardoms: Eye of Obscurance →

I love this book. The story is addicting and the narrator perfectly captures the soul of it. I had previously read the book so I was delighted to find that the narrator told the story the same way I read it; well, except Jace. I think I made Jace out to be slightly less arrogant..

Good read

Review from Uncrowned →

The tournament type is a bit overdone. Still enjoyable. The ending wasn’t what is expected and it’s nice for once to not just have a 2d MC.
