Each one of the different classes has different rules which apply to them. They were constantly adding new concepts and definitions for various groups. Some aspects of feudal Japan with magical abilities thrown in. It might have made sense by book 4 or 5 but I’m not that interested.

Unsouled is goofy. Its not up to the near 5 star average its gotten. This story has some good aspects. The world building is partly interesting.
