Interesting at first and well narrated but becomes repetitious and predictable as the hero moves from one level to the next with the help of magic artifacts conveniently strewn about his path. Light weight fun.

although I feared the series would go in a direction of mediocre plot, the characters remain strong and the allure of the setting firm.
I am constantly amazed by how fantastic this series is and how each new book is able to keep things fresh and interesting without growing stale. I am eager to see what happens next!
