I listen a lot. I am constantly looking for new books and new authors. I tried Tao Wong’s other series a while back and enjoyed it. So, while sitting in a deer stand, I listened to the first and second book of “A Thousand Li”. Entertaining, well done, and an enjoyable listen.

The story was decent, but not captivating. Nothing in particular that I can criticize, but I wasn’t looking for excuses to find more time to listen. The narrator was pretty good. I will not continue reading this series.

I just died laughing from the bloopers alone. I am so close to the end at least to where the actual has stopped for the moment.
I am a huge Dresden fan and for the first half of the book wasn’t sure. I liked how similar it is to that other series but during the last half of the book the character and world come to life and now i would like to see a crossover book

I love the world this book is built in and the characters are great. Travis is one of my favorite narrators. The fight scenes were a bit too vague for me to picture without leaning all over my own imagination but the book as a whole was quite enjoyable.

This book seemed rather out of place in the overall progress of the storyline but it turned out to be both a very enjoyable story and incredibly important plot-wise. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
