I likes how rather than the standard extreme jumps in power normally seen in cultivation novels we got to watch more from the side of a talented but not genius protagonist. I cant wait for the next book!

I’m not really into Fantasies preferring hard-core sci-fi but I have to admit this was pretty awesome. A fantastic story with just the right amount of character development circumventing the main plot. The narration was pretty good. Not perfect for some characters but overall well done. I was really disappointed for it to come to..

Okay. So. I wanted to set a few things straight from a few conflicting reviews. 1. While the MC does get beaten to a pulp, and often, he does not always “lose”. He is dealt a crap hand in life and has some terrible luck, but everything isn’t all bad. He first gets beat up..
I loved this. It is a fantastic delving into a very unique, deep magic system which you really only get the basics of in the main series. But if you don’t come into the book with that background already, I suspect the extended conversations about it and lack of any actual action for most of..
Eye of Obscurance (Fate of Wizardoms #1). my sixth read from author Jeffrey L. Kohanek. Well-written with intricately developed characters you can invest heavily in and the storyline with its intricate twists & surprises as the tension & suspense ratchets up throughout the book’s length. 300 pages but reads even longer with the attention to..

I made it through it but just couldn’t get lost in the book. It was just missing something and i couldn’t suspend my disbelief. It’d be a good listen for 10 to 12 year olds or someone who likes this style. it’s just not for me and won’t continue with the series if more become..

This is a very creative take on the cultivation genre. The setting is basically modern America if cultivation was a real thing. It’s fascinating to see the mix of normal tech side by side with “lucrim” magic. I understand some other reviewers didn’t like the pacing of the novel, or the fact that the main..
