These books are ridiculous and full of things I usually avoid. Overpowered protagonists, story driven by endless amazingly unlikely coincidences, “from earth” meta knowledge etc etc.But here it’s all so charmingly almost tongue in cheek I can’t help but smile. I think what really makes it work is for all the silliness of the world..
