A good quarter of the book is just information being word vomited at the reader. The story is predictable and the budding love triangle doesn’t help in the slightest. This is D&D mixed with fanfiction.

Even with Travis Baldrees excellent performance, I simply couldn’t finish this one. A fantasy reminding me more of a nightmare than a dream – unlikable characters, simplistic story and an unengaging world.
