This book has a really good start, with a main character with character, a unique view on the dungeon-fairy/dungeon relationship, and a new and interesting dungeon system, staged in the Australian outback with all the hazards that come with that. Love this series. The concept of one “soul” with the memory of a past life feeding and supporting his current life is fabulous and mind expanding. The world the author has created is filled with magic and possibility. Enjoying the protagonist’s discovery of the emotion as well as mastery of consequences in his path.
