This was a joy to listen to! I’ve read the book previously and loved it so I thought I’d see how the audiobook was. Travis just brought the story to life and I’m so glad I picked it up!

Ok. I’m sold on Will Wight as a fantasy novel. The Elder Empire Series is amazing. The world building is amazing and unique the characters fascinating. This tale is told from two perspectives and both are wonderful. If you love fantasy do yourself a favor and pick up this series.

I rated the book lower as I was very disturbed by the abrupt ending. Months later after another listen to the other audiobooks, I felt better about it. The performance is fine. Yes the end still feels abrupt and unsatisfying as the book ends in the middle of a tournament. Hopefully the next one won’t..
