I’m writing this after finishing the fourth book in this series. There are virtually 0 flaws with this entire arc. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up and the three that follow it.Travis Bagwell brings this masterfully crafted world to life. Be prepared to be wowed. Yes, it’s that good.
Totally unique premise by a new author. I know most people think there’s never anything new but this one was unlike anything I’ve heard. Baldree nails it with narration as well.

This second installment is just as hood if not better than the first. Ruwan grows a lot but so does his opposition as Nactos’ agents try to end his life and he tries to get strong enough to hold them off, while mysterious forces at home try to kill him as well. Very good.

Well this was a great series but… well it gave up any cohesion in this one. Story line is sporadic, feels like your missing huge sections of the story and find yourself rewinding thinking you must have spaced out on something. Nope it’s just not there at all. Narration is great as always
