The previous book, the butchers masquerade was a pretty damn good read all the way through. The end had some plot points that came out of left field for me but I’m glad to say this book handled those spectacularly. Even better; the end of this book has me completely on board for whatever comes..

Enjoyable, I almost gave it four stars based on the bloopers. I listened to this because I wanted to check out Will’s style. I will look into a different series of his. This sub-genre is not my preference.

Where to start, yet another phenomenal book by the Southbooth team! Alpha Carl’s voice reminded me of Duke Nukem or Joe on Family Guy. Think he was my favorite character yet, hope he makes a return in the future! Can’t wait for the next book let the war commence. P.S. please release the next one..
