I really enjoy these books but the author’s notes are getting out of hand. They are hell on the follow and most of the time add nothing you couldn’t pick up by context or are just entirely irreverent to the story. They just feel like the author tooting his own horn about all the research..

I loved this book and I look forward to more. I don’t know how I am going to like the characters from Of Shadow and Sea when I dislike them in this book, but it will be exciting to see the events from the other perspective.

so this book is a bit slow beyond that I dont have much in the way of issues with it.given the author notes at the end I am very excited for the 4th book and the future of are main character. I hope he develops a bit faster now……just not to fast.

If you have read/listened to the first or second book then this is exactly the same only with more people on people combat. I mean its called the first war. The title pretty much tells you what you are in for.
This is a great series with complex world-building and diverse cast of characters! The narration by Travis Baldree is absolutely amazing and I’m looking forward to the next installment!

This installment of the Cradle is amazing. Non stop action with an intriguing story. So glad I have 3 books left. If you enjoy fantasy of any kind pick up the Cradle series.

Love the book, the ideas and the characters but the main character is the weakest, and is not getting any stronger. He’s not the chosen one, he’s not special in anyway. Come on! The story moves at a snails pace. How long before everyone gives up on this author?
