So, this is a rough review. I really did like the beginning third of the book….and then there was the middle third….and then the last third. The middle third felt like a different plot took off….and it just wasn’t that interesting. Been there, done that. The last third felt rushed. The ending is just marketing..

I almost didnt choose this book because it was so short. usually I pick only 10+ or 15+ hour books. but this has all the goods the longer ones do. back story, good magic system, action, plus more. I was hooked within first 5 mins. wish it was longer though
Sarah Lin has leveled up, the first books has some limitation but this book has progressed to the next level. If are on the fence after the last book push though this book is great. Travis Baldree nails it as usual
I really liked this book. It is litrpg but its bridging the gap between litrpg and traditional fantasy novels. that pulled me into the story more than many litrpg books
She’s just soooooooooooo incredibly annoying …adds zero value, nothing but a distraction. The sister always causes the main character to compromise his progress, and considering that this is progression fantasy …it just isn’t cool. Travis’ performance is A+ as per usual.

I guess I was swayed by the good reviews to purchase this book but was annoyed by the dialog and felt there was not enough background for the story. The characters all seemed a bit mean. I got 3 hours in and decided not to complete which is not usual. I am not a normal..

This first book is pretty good. It has a few things that separates it from other books in the genre including: Urban Fantasy world, a street fighting premise, and an under powered MC. While it’s true that life kicks the MC in the face more often than not, the MC does triumph at pivotal moments..

Good book, but come on now. I’ve never seen a book where the MC is basically a weakling. We get it, the struggle is real. Two books is enough. Time for the MC not to be mediocre anymore.
Yes, I caught what you did there. Chapter 9. AKU Shape shifting master of darkness!!!! says What? You can fly? and Jack AKA the MC says “No Jump Good”. Yes! I saw what you did Mr. Dakota Krout. Well done, bravo.

this was the book I was actually wanting from dungeon eternium. Artorian is my favorite character of three Devine dungeon world. Travis Baldree is the only narrator that can do justice for him.
