This book is different from most books I listen to in that it centers in a young lad who has been beat down by his society. That said, I thought the character development was very good and the storyline engrossing. I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who likes seeing the weak among us..

a wonderfully lengthy story detailing all the wonders of the worlds our little King is living. Facebook forces me to look back on my childhood imagining if I knew then what I know now. looking forward to the next book!

this series has managed to capture my whole family. we’re all relentlessly trying to find the next best fantasy/science fiction and these books are totally scratching that itch. This is a great start to what feels like will be a great epic. It is in the cultivation genre, and is truly a great story. The only thing that takes away from the book–is the lackluster summary provided–ignore it. If you like cultivation books, pick this one up, you will not be disappointed.
