The mark of a good story is that it fulfills the promises it makes to it’s readers. Wintersteel fulfills a promise you probably didn’t realize was made all the way back in Unsouled. Also while the previous book may have seemed disappointing to some with all its low points this book capitalizes on those losses..

Another great entry in the series! I found this one to fly by and finished very quickly because of it. I enjoy the humor and character development in this one almost as much as the action. Lots of big moves that I look forward to seeing bear fruit in the next book.

I’m 4 hours in. One interesting thing has happened in 4 hours. otherwise it’s just narration that goes on & on & on & on….I’m disappointed really, because of all the reviews that promised a good listen. It’s too much talking & nothing really happens. I keep thinking something will happen…and then just more talking…

I listened to this book twice trying to see what I missed. so many good reviews yet I couldn’t remember hearing it. well I still dont because I drifted or fell asleep listening. so what I heard seemed ok. but the author and the story just didn’t have the extra to real me In.
