The unique and diverse personalities of all the characters are vividly portrayed by the narrator making the story easy and very enjoyable to follow. The voices of Fury and Dross are hilarious.

power fantasy incarnate, and a fantastic story to boot. the end could be considered more than open ended but at the same time…well im not about to spoil anything. you will only want more of this story in my opinion. one of my favorites

Wasn’t a very good book … no one wants to think that what happened to the mc could happen to them no matter who your are … found my self skipping to the ens of chapters over and over again because misery is the main theme of this book

That took some interesting turns to say the least I absolutely loved this book would definitely recommend it to others

The reading is great. Story wanders around while at the same time leaving massive chasms where content should be.

I’m not sure what path the author is trying to go down but anyone who has ever been in charge nows you can’t do it all by yourself and he has lived one lifetime as a blanking King. Now you did set up the Kingship based on a duel system so maybe an uneducated guy..

very well written. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. good world building, interesting magic system (though I’m not sure if it’s a hard or soft system yet) and great lore with out info dumping. well fleshed out characters with strong believable motives and organic interactions. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book..

the author has created a compelling storyline that makes you want to listen to the entire series

I don’t think I’ll be continuing on with this series. It was good, for a while but no longer.
