This book was about as good as the first. the only qualm I have with it is the abrupt nature of the resolution. the story pacing toward the end seems far too quick compared to the rest of the work.

The writing in this series is unmatched. The world building, character building, fight scenes, and magic systems are all done to perfection. Plus the performance is exceptional, each character has their own voice. You’re never lost thinking “wait who said that?” I will name my first son Aethon after my favorite fictional character ever.
