I’ve listened to all the Cradle/Unsouled books and just started this series. It has great banter, plot, characters, and a fully immersive new world. Narration is also excellent with Travis Baldree again. Will definitely finish this whole series. Thank you Wight and Baldree!

The MC is annoying

The MC is pretentious, arrogant, and self-serving in a douche, annoying way. He pretends he is strong and puts himself and others in shitty situation to pretend he’s doing the right thing. The author literally uses that crappy attempt at a “good”character to drive the story. Annoying, more entitled(after dying) version of Gon.

Absolutely engrossing! Seeing Hella from Kyle’s point of view was spellbinding. Gerrold & Baldree painted a picture that felt incredibly real.

I enjoyed this first book in a super hero litrpg series. I found some of the gamification elements to be unique and I appreciated the inventiveness. I enjoyed the pop culture (gaming and music mostly) references. I look forward to hearing more!
