I had a hard time following the story at first, but did get comfortable. found though that I doing care enough to continue with this series. nothing wrong with it though, just nothing special enough for me.

Very good. Way better then I thought it would be. And Travis Baldree does a magnificent job once again. That said, the end really pisses me off. I was already planing on buying the next book. To use such a cheep cliffhanger should be below any respectable author.

The author decided to make two characters mortal enemies. Forgetting, it seems, that one of the characters had no reason for enmity. It feels like several chapters of book 4 were omitted, that might explain why?
Absolutely loved this elaboration of the Dudgeon Born series. I’m glad that the world wasn’t left to wither away.

the summary for this book makes it seem more of a sci-fi than a fantasy, which it has a lot of both. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the book though!
