No redeeming qualities

Review from Street Cultivation →

There’s absolutely nothing enjoyable about this story. If you’re looking for a cultivation or profession fantasy novel where the main character improves themselves and their situation through hard work and determination, look elsewhere. This series started as rather run-of-the-mill. But boy o boy did it deliver by the end. Fantastic characterization. Fun story. Well written. A realistic romance and take on adult, rather than teenage relationship dynamics; What’s not to like. Also, this is very much NOT a typical male power fantasy LitRPG story. Two thumbs, way, way..
