This is a wonderfully imagined world brought to life by the great and always entertaining Travis Baldree. I felt like I was on an adventure with the brothers, reminding me why I miss my sibling and the best times of childhood. Plus cats.

Sorry this story is not for me. The writer is tring to hard to make ‘corruption’ a new type of magic? In doing so is making the story drag way too much. I know stories are not the easiest to put together but it must have some oomph to it…thus one does not.

per usual, Travis Baldree is amazing. I truly love his narration. the story was great. I love the pace. others think it is too slow, but I appreciate the journey. If feels more real: not drawn out. *if the author decides to kill off Liu Tao Hei, I will stop reading/ listening to the series…
