if you are suffering from insomnia, this book might do the trick. its like listening to some kneckbeard give commentary over thier make believe sci-fi character. bland and unimaginative, with very flat writing, cliche MC, and cringy dialogue. the reader isn’t at fault here… just boring and cringy writing.

Not usually really into a cultivating type book. This series is really really amazing each book has sucked me in more and more. The progression is great and character development is beyond amazing you can actually see the development happening.
This writer take me to snoozeville USA. Their obsession with over discretion on EVERYTHING makes me feel like they are just trying to make page numbers. I am absolutely not invested in protagonist, he apparently has no drive to better himself and only exists in this book due to easy upgrades. Just not development. I..
This is one of those books that’s pretty frustrating to listen to/ read. imagine someone who is a decent DnD dungeon master and decides to write a novel, but has no other qualifications. that’s kind of what it sounded like. characters – they’re paper thin and have no agency. the author initially barely writes them..

the mc is the only thing that brings this story down for me so far. he has no common sense, he very stupid and he never learns he also a big push around. for me he dose not fit in this story at all. he’s had very little character growth if any to be honest..

Total page turner! With an ending that combined both story arcs in a climactic crescendo. I can’t wait to read the next book. Literally downloading it now. This series gets better with every book.
