I rarely enjoy books as much as I’ve enjoyed this series. The narration is perfect for this series as well. If you read the other books, read this one. If you haven’t read the prequels, read them first. I mean it. Now.
Good start to the series, though I’m not sure how much more I’ll read – the main character is a bit too much of a Gary Stew for my tastes.
I never write reviews, but the quality of this book and the performance inspired me to do so. This book is a masterpiece in the genre of LitRPG. I mean that with no hyperbole. We finally get an MC who isn’t over the top, who isn’t OP and is as flawed as most humans can..

This series is great I picked this one up and didn’t stop all day. Can’t wait to start the next book.
I enjoyed the book but at certain points it skips or jumps/rushes through things that I feel should have more explanation. The end, to me, feels almost rushed in that so much happens so quickly without even a warning and then it’s over. I thought this book was great but I was left feeling like..
A. F. Kay crafted a wonderful YA coming-of-age book that contained all of the element necessary for a full 5 star rating. There was mystery, great expectations, surprise betrayal, crestfallen grief over diminished future aspirations, friendship bonding, humor, stellar narration and much more. However, this has got to be the most heavily-laden stat dump books..
With so many great things about this series to say it’s hard to start, power is hard to achieve but with the right Goal anything is possible. This book is funny heart warming and action packed.I strongly recommend getting this whole series.

Every sentence is ended in a dramatic way even if it isn’t warranted. The narrator draws out words to make them seem impactful when they really aren’t. This book seems interesting but I couldn’t make it through the first chapter.

No harem Very little cursing No sexual content Just excellent writing and wonderful interactions between believable characters. Steady pace of a fun escape into an imaginative well developed world. The 20 hours go by fast leaving you wanting the next book. Don’t even hesitate on getting this book.

Glad this was in the free section. Narrator sounds like he is reading movie previews. Maybe it would be better with a good narrator.
