Thanks to the other reviewer who encouraged giving this book a listen! The beginning was good, but I wasn’t really hooked til the first twist in the plot.
Loved Dakota Krout’s other works in the Ritualist books as well as the divine dungeon. I was for some reason a bit hesitant about this series, but the first book did not disappoint! Fun while at the same time immersive and with good character depth, and the narrator is perfect with the old main character.

This book is as good as I expectedI had it on my list for a while. Happy I got around to it.
Really enjoyed this book in the series. Lots of action with well describe combat descriptions, grand plans and maneuvering by various empires. Althrough it Lindon helps his comrades while pushing himself to the next level. Highly recommend you add this to you must listening list.
Way too much stats recitations. A. F. Kay continues to move the story along nicely and even does a good job of showing the carelessness of a self-absorbed of a 16 year old MC. I read a lot of LitRPG books. I can say that this book is one of my favorites. Story line, narration, depth, dialogue all top tier. Congratulations to Mr. Kirrin. Believe me, you will enjoy this book.
