well written, good narration franks funny if not obnoxious sometimes but that’s the point over all I really enjoyed it would recommend

Took a chance on this book because Travis Baldree was narrating it. It was AMAZING! I even got my brother hooked on it, and he’s not the type to listen to fantasy books. Can’t wait for the next book!

this was a fantastically crafted and voice acted story, the twists and turns were great and I constantly wanted to find out what was going to happen next, I’m so excited that there are so many books to look forward to and to plan to head straight for the second one 🙂

the main character acting very foolish in a lot of spots like not leaching the doctors power and the general use of his power just made you want to say f*** this book

Just based on the description of the book, I might not have listened to this. That would have been unfortunate! This is a great series. I’m now on the fourth book and it keeps getting better. This is a very entertaining series and you won’t want to put it down.

A lot of “worst to first” novels/series tend to have pacing and power creep issues, but this one seems to have found the correct balance. Look forward to book 2

I think this one is about as good as book one was, and excellent on audiobook
