I’m on chapter 12 of about 20, the mc has no redeeming values. Between his self loathing, acting like a bully even though he thinks he’s cheating. Worse is how he acts, when he beats someone through actually cheating. Then a diety decides to give him power/insight that he does not deserve. This only happens..

This was, yet again, one of the best books I’ve listened to in. a while! Every chapter had me sitting on the edge of my seat! And now the end if this book has me wondering whats going to happen next! My mind is racing!!!

This book was included in membership and that’s mostly why I picked it up, but I’m glad I did! The narration is perfect! Easy to follow, different voices used, just right! The world created is original and introduces us to a good amount of the setting without being overwhelming. I look forward to the next..
This is actually a pretty good litrpg. The combat scenes are fun and the aforementioned talking axe is a very enjoyable character. He’s obviously a copy of skippy from the Expeditionary Force series but he’s well written, funny, and voiced fantastically. this book is amazing it is so well written, you are committed to the story almost immediately. it doesn’t give you the super OP MC right away, instead let’s you experience the struggles of a normal (ish) gamer. Very well done ?
This book did a really good job of giving an understanding of the magic of the world without being boring. The action came along often enough to keep me going and made me more excited about the other books.
