Simple. It’s excellent. Writing, narration, world, all of it. I’ve played RPGs for well over 20 years. I enjoy MMOs but really they never had enough story for me, too much filler, too much social interaction, too much desperate ploy to grab $ from the lonely masses. This is an epic RPG novel. Non stop action and the twists and turns never end. One of the best authors I’ve ever read.

I was initially hesitant to start this book because of the reviews but luckily I took the chance. this book is amazing if you like magic systems and world building read this book. if the author continues the way he started it might make it to my top 5 book series.

I loved the story. Once the story picked up it kept my attention all the way through. Would have loved the story even more if there was a female narrator to pair with the male. I personally enjoyed the personality of the axe “Frank” because of how he was modified to detriment of the MC…
