It’s a pretty good fantasy with elements of Tao which is very fasinating and I am looking forward to the next one
Overall: A nice mix of classic fantasy LitRPG and cultivation. Comparable to Good/Bad guys, AO and Cradle series. Binged on first 3 books at once, enjoyed very much. Since I’ve fallen down the lit RPG rabbit hole, I’ve come to really appreciate a series where the main character does not get op (too soon) thereby erasing consequence. I feel the author did a good job of portraying a noob player, but not getting too bogged down with exposition.
