Starts a little slow but just like the rest of Dakota’s work it keeps you wanting more.

The story is intriguing and the narrator brings the story to life. Very suspensefully written and a joy to listen to.

I can’t put this book down and am walking miles more each day simply to find out what is happening. The narrator is excellent.

I am enjoying this series but found the Blackflame trails repetitive. The narration is very good.

I immediately disliked the main character, to the point where I was strongly considering dropping the book. I found the initial premise kind of obnoxious, but it really grew on me over time.

A very good listen from beginning to end. Can’t wait for the next book to be released!

Guess its hard to compare Performance to award winner Nick Poedel (sic) but still very good. Appreciate the different voices for characters. Wish there was some character list or guide. Certain parts of the story seemed slightly under developed or skipped over – battles with some enemies went from middle of fight to afterwards. Good..
