Of the book was spent on explaining the MCs training. it wasnt boring as some writers get but when the overall length is the story is so short it difficult to give up 50% of the pages for is training.

The first book was absolutely great. Second book was okay. This book was way too slow and just grindy. The series has felt like an anime and until the last two chapters this book felt like a bunch of filler episodes. Hopefully book 4 redeems it.
Loved this accidental choice. Just go for it and experience what I did. It’s worth the three day lead time.
Well read and of the quality I expect from a Will Wight book in terms of world building. It even does better than the Cradle series in terms of showing, not telling, and so is a great ride the whole way along.
