This book is a blast! With the additional fun that it shows all the decisions that lead the protagonist to where he ends up, allowing hours of entertaining speculation on what YOU might have done differently.

One of the best fantasy series I’ve read… Ever. I blasted through all 9 books in this series in just over 2 weeks. Thoroughly captivating story in an interesting setting. Characters were likeable and had realistic flaws and great character development. Just can’t say enough great things about this series.

Very solid story with a great MC. Enjoyed every bit of it and couldn’t wait to get back to it amid work and other obligations. Picked up books 2 and 3 to binge as well.

Overpowered main character, good world development, slow uninteresting character growth. For multi book pack it’s short.

It was okay, I’m not going to pursue any of the other books in the series. It’s a little hard to follow the story sometimes because there is no pause or any indication that the point of view is changing from one person to another. The narrator was also only so-so.

It was really great to see the growth and challenges faced by the characters. I love the complexity and world building. The narrator does a superb job bringing the story to life.
