It’s really unique and really wells written. I think this a really good read and will get you hooked on the series.

Seriously, everything makes starts to make sense between chapter 8 and 16. Travis Baldree nailed the narration and I’m happy the book ended well. Too many Lit-Rpg books mess up the ending, not this one. Where’s the 2nd one, Kyle?
it’s like the character makes more trouble from himself by not just like saying no and people like go out of their way just to be s***** to him so I’m just a bit confused about the point of the whole thing but overall it wasn’t bad
it’s not in my top ten, but it is entertaining, passes the time and worth a listen.

I could never connect with the protagonist, I found myself cheering when they died. The axe is also awful, but at least he was amusing some of the time. If of th ge author was to somehow feel for the plight of the main character they were a long way off from the mark.
