Baldree is always an amazing narrator, and this story was as fun as any of the ones he’s done. I don’t generally get books that are this short, but if there’s a deal, you should snag it.

This book has eldritch monsters, Rothfussian magicians, assassins, and pirates. I can’t think of a much better recipe for a truly engrossing romp.

If you like listening to litrpg, this is one book you do not want to sleep on. Story is amazing and narration is astonishing.
It seems like most if the bad reviews come from people that aren’t into the isekai genre so don’t understand it. if you already like Manga and light novels this is a 5/5. it’s not just a short story to sell big though it is a whole journey so these first 2 books shouldn’t base..
I recommend this book to all those wishing to escape from the grip of their birth world. Everybody, has some form of a want to redo something, but could you imagine a whole new life? With your own memories? How far could you go?
