This book in particular felt like the author(s) took their plot outline, threw it in a blender, and tapped the on button for only and instant, then poured it into their book. For me a measure of how good a book is can be measured by rereadability. I’ve read books that I’ve enjoyed but never felt the need or desire to reread. Then there are books like enders game, wheel of time, and cradle (among other greats) where I put on in the background to relive favorite..

Everyone keeps complaining about Frank, but I didn’t find him to be that annoying. Helpful? No, but I think that is the draw of the character. I honestly loved this book, it has a fun class system and the ending was set up perfectly.

This is a nice solid LITRPG. Story: Socially awkward but super wealthy video game nerd buys all the slots for early access to a VR game. The main creator of the game, another wealthy socially awkward (though he doesn’t seem to know it) guy hates him for it and so tries to set him up..
I love the interconnectedness of this series, it’s fast become one of my top ten favorite series I’ve ever discovered and read. Thanks Dennis and Dakota for sharing these stories with us.Thank you Travis for always giving a great performance 🎭 and breathing life into these characters. You guys rock!

Going into the story I worried it was going to be immature. But I thourghly enjoyed the logical actions.. not a murder hobo… not self righteous. . .. definitely more nuetral… looking forward to book 2…

the characters in this audio book are great! the narrator does an excellent job dramatizing this! I listened to the entire audio book. some parts were funny. I could keep up with the events even though the narrator jumps back and forth to different time periods.
I enjoyed listening to the audiobook. It wasn’t overly complicated or dry, just a fun read.
