I loved the book. but the constant discomfort of the main character being pushed out the competition or the benefits towards the last half of the book was constant and heavy. I couldnt get into the tournament after MC was kicked out

The narrator is fine, but the story is a generic eastern story with no real soul of its own.

I am absolutely in love with this series of books! Captivating and spellbinding stories!

I absolutely loved this story. Well done so far! I am looking forward to starting the next book.

Cannot finish, drags on. The time jumps are rough. Not engaging. Normally with Audible, i like to sit and listen to the book, however with this I got extremely bored.

As a gamer, and also a fantasy fan, I was skeptical about this but but so happily surprised! I listened to the whole thing in three days and had a hard time turning it off during work. A delightfully enjoyable adventure with great characters!

Probably in my top five LitRPG series, definitely in my top 10. The depth added to the characters in this audiobook is fantastic, Travis Baldree adds seriousness, humor, thoughtfulness to an already wonderfully engaging story.
